It's absolutely delicious that the royals have to sweat it out during the holidays. He's probably taken the high road as far as his family goes and has enough achievements and admirable life experience to make this a great read without ever mentioning them. From his military service and combat experience to what was involved in the creation of Sentebale, The Invictus Games and Archewell will be fascinating to learn more about. He is donating a significant portion of his earnings from the book -- more details are on the website Prince Harry's Memoir. As a mother, it's my opinion Diana would be incredibly proud.
This is a man of substance. This is a man who has chosen to use his immense priviledge to serve and try to make the world a better place. Every aspect of this book will have been well thought out and vetted by a team of lawyers, but the cover...whew, the picture choice alone makes me think The Duke has a lot to get off his chest.
Let's not kid ourselves, a lot of people want to hear the dirt, especially after the abysmal way he was treated surrounding the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Many who have followed for years were still shocked at how poorly the monarchy behaved in such a public manner and admired how he and his wife maintained their quiet dignity. I am one of those people. Burn it down, Harry! Doubtful, but I still can't wait to read it. In case anyone needs me the second week of January 2023, unfortunately, other things will have me occupied.
